In a demonstration of compassion, humanitarian service, and spiritual devotion, the Alakuko Oba-Elect, , has announced the commencement of a Free Medical Outreach alongside a Ramadan Public Lecture themed “Spiritual Benefits of Ramadan Fasting.”
The initiative, aimed at promoting both physical well-being and spiritual reflection during the holy month of Ramadan, will also feature special prayers for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, ; the Governor of Lagos State, ; the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, ; and the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, .
The programme is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Gbeleyi Compound, behind Alakuko Police Station, Ojokoro LCDA, Lagos State.
The Free Medical Outreach will commence at 8:00 a.m., while the Ramadan Lecture is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

Speaking with journalists at his residence in Alakuko, Prince Gbeleyi noted that the Ramadan lecture will provide an opportunity for the Muslim faithful and the wider community to offer prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly for the continued success of his economic reform agenda, which he said has attracted global attention and commendation.
He further stated that prayers will also be offered for sustained progress in the fight against insurgency and insecurity across the country, as well as for the continued success of the President in future national assignments.
The Oba-Elect also described Lagos State as a leading model of development, economic growth, and infrastructural advancement, attributing this progress to the strong collaboration between Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, and the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. Barr. Oluyemisi Rosiji, whose administration he commended for driving meaningful development within the council area.
Prince Gbeleyi therefore urged Nigerians to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing optimism that the nation is on the path to greater prosperity under his leadership.
He referenced the President’s transformative legacy during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State as a testament to his commitment to national development.
He also encouraged residents of Alakuko and surrounding communities to take advantage of the free medical outreach to assess and better understand their health conditions.
The outreach will provide a range of health services including Diabetes Mellitus screening, Hypertension screening, Hepatitis B screening, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, Malaria screening, and specialist medical consultations.
Prior to his emergence as the Alakuko Oba-Elect, Prince Adesola Akanbi Gbeleyi had already distinguished himself through several community-driven initiatives, including widow support programmes, business empowerment schemes, and other social intervention projects aimed at improving the welfare of residents.
