PRESIDENT TINUBU HOLDS STRATEGIC CLOSED-DOOR MEETING WITH SERVICE CHIEFS AT THE PRESIDENTIAL VILLA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday convened a high-level closed-door meeting with Nigeriaโ€™s top military and security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national security and address emerging threats across the country.

According to information obtained from a reliable State House source, the meeting was attended by key security leaders, including the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyode; Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu; Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kelvin Aneke; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas; and the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General E.A.P. Undiendeye.

Also in attendance were the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Tosin Ajayi.

Although the specific agenda and resolutions of the meeting were not disclosed, the high-profile gathering is believed to be connected to the recent rise in abductions and security breaches reported in parts of northern Nigeria.

The meeting underscores the Federal Governmentโ€™s renewed commitment to enhancing inter-agency collaboration and delivering decisive action to protect citizens and restore stability across affected regions.
