911 COMMUNITY LEAGUE 2025: A GRAND CELEBRATION OF UNITY, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN IFAKO IJAIYE
The 2025 edition of the 911 Community League is going to be concluded in grand style, marking another remarkable milestone in fostering unity, youth engagement, and community development within Ifako Ijaiye Local Government.
This year’s tournament proudly sponsored by Honourable Temitope Adewale Adedeji, OON, distinguished Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 01; the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Affairs, Hon. Alabi; and the Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, ably supported by his dependable Vice Chairman, Hon. Oluwatoyin Akerele.
The highly anticipated grand finale will graciously be hosted by Honourable Oluwole Michael Sholola (Okito), the Councillor representing the good people of Ward B, whose commitment to youth development and community advancement remains exemplary.
Speaking ahead of the event, the sponsors and dignitaries emphasized the significance of grassroots sports as a unifying force and a platform for nurturing young talents.
They reaffirmed their belief that football and sports generally have become a powerful “religion” among the youths—serving as a tool for peace-building, social inclusion, and positive engagement across all communities in Ifako Ijaiye.
The 911 Community League 2025 is not only showcasing outstanding football artistry and sportsmanship but also strengthened bonds among youths from diverse backgrounds. The event further reflected the collective commitment of leaders, stakeholders, and residents to sustaining peace, harmony, and opportunities for young people to thrive.
