UTME Results: Over 1.5 Million Candidates Score Below 200

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The statistical analysis of 2025 UTME result released by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday gave a key highlights include:

• Low scores: Over 1.5 million candidates scored less than 200 out of 1,955,069 total candidates.
• Higher scores: Only 420,415 candidates scored above 200.
• Top performers: 4,756 candidates scored above 320, while 7,658 candidates scored between 300-319.

JAMB also noted that 40,247 underage candidates participated, with 467 (1.16%) achieving exceptional scores. Their performance in subsequent stages is still pending.
