FIFA Unveils Official Mascots for Historic FIFA World Cup 26™ Co-Hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States

In a vibrant and symbolic celebration, FIFA has today revealed the three Official Mascots for the FIFA World Cup 26™, marking the first time the tournament will be co-hosted by three nations: Canada, Mexico and the United States.

The charismatic trio — Maple™ the Moose (Canada), Zayu™ the Jaguar (Mexico), and Clutch™ the Bald Eagle (USA) — will serve as cultural ambassadors, uniting fans around the globe while representing the rich heritage, diversity and spirit of their respective countries.

“These mascots are more than just characters — they embody the energy, diversity and unity that define the FIFA World Cup,” said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

“Maple, Zayu and Clutch bring joy, excitement and a strong sense of togetherness. I can already see them winning over fans, gracing t-shirts, appearing in video games and bringing smiles to faces across the world.”

In a groundbreaking move to connect with younger audiences, Maple, Zayu and Clutch will become the first official FIFA mascots to be playable in a video game. They will debut in FIFA Heroes, a fast-paced, fantasy-style five-a-side arcade football game launching in 2026.

Developed by ENVER in collaboration with Solace, the game will be part of FIFA’s growing FIFAe portfolio, accessible across Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox platforms.

Additionally, fans will be able to experience mascot-themed quests and exclusive rewards through FIFA Super League Soccer on Roblox, created in partnership with Gamefam.

The mascots will take center stage in the lead-up to and throughout the tournament, running from 11 June to 19 July 2026, which will feature a record 48 teams.

A full merchandise line featuring Maple, Zayu and Clutch will be available at FIFAStore.com, allowing fans to show their support and connect with the spirit of the World Cup.
