The October 2025 FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s World Ranking reflects major shifts following 173 international matches, including FIFA World Cup 26™ qualifiers and international friendlies.

Spain remain No. 1 after consecutive wins, maintaining the lead they claimed in September. Argentina rise to 2nd, overtaking France (3rd) after the French side drew 2-2 with Iceland in UEFA qualifying.

Germany return to the top 10 (10th, up 2), pushing Croatia down to 11th. The Netherlands (6th, up 1) move ahead of Brazil (7th, down 1) following the Seleção’s slip against Japan.

Further down, teams like Hungary (37th), Scotland (38th), Nigeria (41st), and Romania (47th) continue their climb. The biggest movers are Faroe Islands, Lesotho, and Niger, each jumping nine places — with Faroe Islands’ surprise win over Czechia (44th, down 5) proving decisive.

Kosovo (84th, up 7) hit a historic high, while Syria (86th) and Liberia (138th) also make notable gains. On the decline, Sweden (40th) and Greece (48th) fall eight spots each after recent defeats.
