LASCOTA Endorses Prince Hamzat, APC Candidates in Ifako-Ijaiye LG Election
The Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA), Ifako-Ijaiye chapter, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates in the upcoming local government elections.
The endorsement was given during a visit by the APC delegation, led by Deacon Banjo Omole and Evang. Mrs. Funke Olaleye, to the LASCOTA Secretariat on June 27, 2025.
Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat, the APC flagbearer and Executive Chairman candidate, highlighted his administration’s achievements in supporting artisans, youth development, and local infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of the “Prosperity 2025” agenda in empowering the community.
LASCOTA members, led by Comrade Akeem Olasode, commended Prince Hamzat’s inclusive governance style and pledged their support for the APC candidates, assuring the party of a decisive victory at the polls.
The endorsement by LASCOTA, a key association representing thousands of artisans and trades people, gives the APC’s campaign in Ifako-Ijaiye significant momentum and grassroots reach ahead of the July 12 election.
