THE 7TH LEGISLATIVE ARM OF IFAKO-IJAIYE LOCAL GOVERNMENT HIGHLIGHTS KEY AGENDA IN RECENT PLENARY SITTING – 11TH SEPT 2025

The 7th Legislative Arm of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area held a plenary sitting during which key agenda items were emphasized to drive developmental progress across the LGA.

During the sitting, the legislative council reiterated its commitment to strategic governance and constituency-focused representation through the constitution of various committees tasked with overseeing crucial sectors.

The following committee chairpersons and members were announced:

C. Committee on Transport, Traffic, Revenue and Market – Chairman: Hon. Sholola Oluwole Micheal, Member: Hon. Adegbayibi Adedeji John, Member: Hon. Safiat Ajoke Aregbesola, Secretary: L.A Baligun ( Council Clerk)

D. Committee on Security, Chieftancy, Peace Reconciliation and Public Petition–

This initiative is aimed at addressing infrastructural gaps, improving interconnectivity, and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.

The Leader of the House commended all members for their dedication and urged each committee to begin active engagement with stakeholders to ensure efficient implementation of their responsibilities.

The Ifako-Ijaiye 7th Legislative Arm remains committed to transparency, inclusiveness, and effective service delivery for all constituents.
